There are so many little things we can do daily to extend kindness. Here are some suggestions: greet everyone you know, including strangers; hold a door for someone; say please, thank you, and sorry when appropriate; give someone a compliment; be patient; be non-judgemental; smile at a Mom or Dad who is obviously experiencing a challenging moment with a child; and last but not least, remember to tell loved ones that you love them. Do you have additional ideas? Remember to practice kindness on yourself first and then allow the kindness to flow to other people and animals.
Being kind and performing acts of kindness will positively impact your life and the lives of others. The recipient could be experiencing a challenging day or season of life. Your simple act of kindness may suddenly make his or her life worth living. That person will hopefully pay it forward and spread additional kindness. Never underestimate the power of kindness!
